Strawberry Hibiscus Mojito

Summer's Last Stand: Part II

Another delicious Mojito for another scorching September day.  I've loved strawberries forever, and especially loved picking and eating them fresh from our strawberry patch when we lived in Oklahoma, and I've really enjoyed mixing with hibiscus (and floral flavors in general) this summer.  Add a Mojito to that combination and you have even more of my favorite summer things rolled up in a delicious package.

Strawberry Hibiscus Mojito
Glassware: 10oz Collins
Method: Muddle, and Box to finish
Garnish: Mint sprig and Lime wedge

Muddle:
1 Strawberry
3 Lime wedges
6 Mint leaves
.75 oz Simple syrup
1 dash Hibiscus syrup

Add:
1.5 oz Silver Rum

Fill with ice and top with soda water.  Box once to mix it all together and make it pretty.  Garnish.
